Our story
House of Birria started with an idea in December 2020: bring the West Coast birria street food scene to Middletown, NY, with our own twist.
After exploring birria spots in California and NYC, we opened our food truck in September 2021. What started in an empty parking lot grew into a loyal following and, within two years, our very own brick-and-mortar location.
Today, House of Birria is more than tacos. It’s bold Mexican street-style food, great drinks, music, and a vibe of its own. From our neon Día de los Muertos-inspired decor to our events and packed Sunday brunches, we do things in our own unique way!
Our community is big part of our trajectory! We’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited to bring the House of Birria experience to even more communities.
